ANNA MORGAN is a tastemaker and curator of globally minded low-end frequencies. An LA transplant, Anna is a Bronx native of Jamaican/Okinawan descent and a DJ, producer, promoter, and label co-founder whose sound expresses her eclectic experience.
Her dynamic sets are full of surprises, genre-bending, and lots of energy. Her international touring schedule and unique blend of sound system and club culture have won her the DJ Mag “Break through DJ of the year,” crown. In 2024 she has been handpicked as support by forward thinking artist like Kelela, Ivy Lab, GJones, Eprom, The Glitch Mob and Ternion Sound. She just performed at the Iconic Red Rocks with Of The Trees, and is currently touring North America with The Glitch Mob. She was also recently named by UKF as an up and artist to look out for.
Her songs and remixes have charted on Beatport and Juno. Her productions have been featured on outlets like BBC1, NTS, and Rinse by hosts like Sherelle, Yaeji, Oneman, and Madam X.
Her label was nominated by DJ Mag as Break Through Label in 2023 and recently honored as an Essential Label in a two-page spread by the publication. She curates the infamous Footwork Jungle and has been commemorated by London’s EQ50 for Black History month as an integral North American contributing to the proliferation Jungle & DnB.

MICHAEL RED (iAMi Soundsystem, Lighta! Sound, Low Indigo) is a well known and respected Vancouver based music producer, curator, and DJ. Experienced and celebrated in long list of genres over the years, including jungle, trip hop, ambient, downtempo, dub, dancehall, dubstep, and the many strains of bass-driven hybrid genres and global fusion sounds.

Project Future Sound aka The Funkdealer, started off as a jazz drummer in early high school and on, but slowly morphed into the world of the dj and producer. While funk was his main diet for many years he began to embrace all genres and modes of music creation, always sourcing the top cuts of funkiness in any given
genre of music, blending hiphop, dubstep, breaks, dub, reggae, dancehall, drum and bass, halftime, leftfield bass and genres that you've never even heard of, doing live mashups, remixes, and scratching. In addition to djing Jason has curated over 100 shows and is deep into sound system culture and the running of sound systems.

Inspired by the success of the 'Jazz Feeds Vancouver' series organized by Infidels Jazz in Vancouver- Theinfidelsjazz.ca, we have decided to try and do our own Sunshine Coast version. This will hopefully evolve into an annual multi-venue event, our inaugural event will be Dec 19 & 20 2024 at the Roberts Creek Legion.

In a nutshell we see this as both a great way to raise awareness of the amazing talent pool for jazz we have on the Coast, and to help the Food Bank at a time when they really need the help.

The list of artists who have signed on this year is amazing - 2 nights of amazing Jazz for a great cause!
